Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos

Keeps coming up with an error saying "Frame Rate 59 not supported" or Frame Rate 60 not supported. Plays everything else just fine that I've made, just started to use the new Nvidia Shadowplay record function for game footage but for some reason wont play via Serviio though. My older videos that are 30FPS mp4 or wmv work okay. If anyone has a profile suggestion I'm all ears, currently using the samsung tv/player (E/F Series) profile but I've tried quite a few with the same issues.

Here is the file info that Serviio/SamsungTV just simply won't play because it says Frame Rate 59 not supported...

Re: Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos
My recollection is that my Samsung could not play framerates as high as 60. Check your TV manual. I had to convert my file to 30fps in order to play it.
Re: Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos
Thanks for the reply.... but yes I believe the TV is actually capable of 120FPS as it is a 120htz TV along with the 240mhz Clear Motion Rate.
here is a link to the tech specs anyway : http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN60FH6200FXZA-specs
I haven't found any options to adjust the refresh rate though if there is an option.. only the auto Auto Motion Plus which I dont know what setting to choose and no description of the fresh rate in there either.

Re: Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos

Re: Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos
Hi,
Can serviio profiles.xml config be tweaked so it would transcode all 60fps video to 30fps on the fly?

Great, I can live with that, I guess. Can you anvise me how to do it?
Re: Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos
Force that all videos are transcoded. Search forum for proper profile to use?

Re: Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos
Except of forcing everything to be transcoded, is there an option to select only 60fps videos? Or transcoding everything is the only possible approach?
Re: Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos
I have no time to check ffmpeg options...

Re: Help with Samsung UN60FH6200F playing 60FPS videos
Im not asking about ffmpeg options - Im asking about serviio profiles.xml "< matches /> attribute. So servio would attempt to transcode only 60 fps videos instead of doing everything.
You write that "you dont have the time to check ffmpeg options" - maybe it would be better if you stop writing meaningless responses, and let assist someone who actually wants to help?

pfff... It can be clearly seen how did you manage to gain these 326 posts.
Don't bother to reply, unsubscribing anyway.
