folder.jpg not default folder thumbnail anymore

I've been using this great tool for quite some time now.
I've just been starting to use xbmc/kodi to access my serviio sources again.

I've noticed that something has changed in serviio.
I used to have specific folder.jpg files in all my video folders.
It seems the current version doesn't display them anymore. It uses the first picture it finds in the directory:

Example:
folder: Spiderman
files:
spiderman1.jpg
spiderman1.mkv
spiderman2.jpg
spiderman2.mkv
spiderman3.jpg
spiderman3.mkv
folder.jpg

Is it possible to add this feature back into serviio?

+1 to that; and I would also request that we add cover.[jpg|png] to the mix as well.

In your example, would you expect folder.jpg to be used for all the files? or just the folder icon? The thumbnail of the first file is used as folder thumbnail and was always the case.

Hmm, strange. I was absolutely sure.
I thought the folder.jpg was used for the thumb for the folder itself.
When you only have the folder.jpg in the folder and several movie files without a thumb file (named the same as the video file), then I would see the thumbnail (folder.jpg) being used for all the files.

Would be nice to see that the folder.jpg would only be used for the folder itself and be able to use self made thumbs per video file or let serviio create it's own thumbs and ignore the folder.jpg.

That's not easy to do currently, so this will stay as it is for the forseable future.

Would it then de possible to arrange this?

In the same directory:
- folder "movies"
- movies.jpg (own picture for folder)
- folder "series"
- series.jpg (own picture for folder)
- folder "documentaries"
- documentaries.jpg (own picture for folder)

So instead of placing a folder.jpg inside an specific folder, you can add a specific *.jpg file named identical to the folder.

It won't make a difference to me - it's due to how folders are implemented in Serviio.
