Re: samsung blueray bd-350

MKV files are just containers, and the video and audio within may or may not be compatible with your Samsung. We need additional information about the file to assist.

There are two simple ways to extract the information within the MKV file. One is a Windows program called MediaInfo. The other is running FFMPEG from the command line. MediaInfo is easier to use, but FFMPEG is already on your computer in the Serviio\lib folder.

Whichever method you use to extract the information, post the results here and we can begin to assist.

Re: samsung blueray bd-350

I also own a Panasonic television and this television Serviio done very well work. My mentioning. I bought a samsung blueray drive brand and it's BP350 model. Do I need to add a code file as I have done for my TV? If so, what place can I find it?

Big thank you in advance for your help.

Re: samsung blueray bd-350

First, I think you're missing a letter in your BD model number. My guess is it's a BD-H350, although the H might be a different letter. I tried searching for a BD-350 and found nothing. I did find a BD-E3500.

Next, make sure Serviio is using the correct profile. Serviio did not recognize my H series BD player (not Serviio's fault, the player doesn't identify itself properly), so I have to set it myself. Once you know the correct model number, use that letter to choose the correct profile.

If they still don't appear, then we need to look at your files, both how they're named and the content within the container. We'll work on that if the above doesn't work.

Re: samsung blueray bd-350

Oups I have a error, my other tv is a samsung but the blueray is LG BP350, sorry
The LG BP350 is well located on the screen of my TV via the blueray player but anything that is detected in March Serviio does not. It detects files but displays the error in the directory me that there are no files that can be read.

sorry for my error

Re: samsung blueray bd-350

OK, we've resolved the player model. Since you've posted this in the Samsung section, you might not get the necessary help here. You might try again in the LG forum.

That said, does the Serviio console show the correct LG profile selected for your player? That's the first thing to check. I don't have any LG product so can't offer anything further specific to that brand.
