WDTV Live playback freezing intermittently

Hi, I have been using Serviio for a couple weeks now and have only been watching mkv files at 400mb's in size (45min length) and the playback has been great.

After watching a couple of mkv files at 1GB and up (7GB or more) the playback will freeze for about 10 seconds at intervals ranging from every 5min to as long as 20min in between freezes. After the 10 seconds passes the video and audio get caught back up but you miss some of the audio resulting in having to rewind. If this only happened once or twice during a movie, I could live with it, but it occurs so often that I need to find a fix.

I have transcoding enabled and under the status tab I have the WD TV Live Plus with the WDTV Live profile selected and have a green active light.

My WDTV is operating off of a wired 1Gbps connection.

My computer is more than sufficient to handle this type of video content as I used to stream content from my PC via another media server but I was having issues with it so I switched to serviio.

I played one movie and during its streaming I checked out the temporary folder at my PC that the transcoding option is set to use but I did not see any transcoded files? I am not sure if that means the transcoding is not working or if I still have another option I need to set.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

This one hung up a few times to, but not as often as the above movie. Also I streamed the above movie from my WDTV Live media player flawlessy from the media player via USB stick. I monitored my computer resources during another show and waited for a hang up and didn't see any hang ups or spikes in computer resources. Running Windows 7, 64 bit, I7 4770 CPU, 16GB ram, 2GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti video card.

This streams fine through WDTV from serviio media server and the only difference from the other two files is that this one isn't HD quality and is a much smaller file size of 400mb verses the other two at 1.6GB and 6.6GB.
