resume playback on samsung tv j series

hello.

is there any way to make resume possible on samsung ue48j5550 ?

If you mean resume playback from the position that the video was stopped at, my JU series does it just fine. When I had the HU series, it also did. I'm not currently using my H series BD player, but I believe it did as well.

In fact, my Samsung players have been the only ones I've ever had that have allowed resuming playback after stopping and playing something else.

What I should have included in my previous post is that there's nothing Serviio can do to provide this. Resuming playback is a function of the playback device. Serviio has a database field with the time stamp of when the video was stopped, and if the player can read that field then it can commence playback from that location. Beyond that, there's nothing that Serviio can do.

UE48J6272 resumes avi,mp4 and mkv files just fine with the H-profile on the 1.5.3 version of serviio.
