Server Problem

I have a windows server 2012r2 machine that runs serviio that stopped working since updating to 1.7

The application loads and shows all my files with the service status as running but non of my devices see it any longer. I don't see any machines in the connected devices list. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Adam

Re: Server Problem

First thing I'd check is the firewall. Lately Microsoft has been releasing updates that have closed previously open ports. I'm not familiar with the firewall settings in Server 2012, so can't offer a more specific place to look.

Re: Server Problem

Thankyou for your post. It turns out that because I have 2 network cards in the server I needed to select one for serviio to broadcast. Thnakyou for your input!

Re: Server Problem

Ah yes. With multiple NICs, you have to tell Serviio which one to use. Glad you found it! :D
