Chromecast + Serviio

Anyone managed to use Chromecast and Serviio?

Yes my dude I used for many years Chromecast v2 controlled with mediabrowser or bubbleupnp. Some free stuff might work with it idk. Only bummer is even if serviio is local ìf there's no internet Chromecast refuses to play. And it's impossible to stream to it from hotspot without a router. And it's communicating with Google, encrypted traffic, idk what, 24/7. New ones have microphone for some reason.

The latest chromecasts support guest mode which allows direct WIFI without a router etc.

Can you not cast from Serviio MediaBrowser?
