Panasonic TX-P50VT65B and apple MOV files

Hi,
I am using profile Panasonic Viera (2013). Works well for videos and photos in ipeg.
But cannot show my apple phone photos in MOV format.
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Panasonic TX-P50VT65B and apple MOV files

I just checked that profile, and it has a Matches line to catch all H.265 video regardless of container. So, it should be working. Of course, transcoding H.265 requires more power than other codecs, so perhaps playback is timing out before transcoding has time to catch up. Are you seeing any sort of error message when you play? A detailed Serviio log might assist troubleshooting as well.

Re: Panasonic TX-P50VT65B and apple MOV files

Hi Dan,

I don't get even to see the file list of *.mov files in servioo.
Maybe something with apple format is not correct ?
Indicated media type of all ( pic, audio, video) for that shared directory.
Refreshed library several times, it only has 2 directories with few files in them ( so not huge ).

Pointed to jpeg or mp4 directories ( with different files ) - all works as it should : video and pictures are displayed and streaming OK.
What can I be doing wrong ?

Additional info:

I enabled debug and am trying to see any error messages - but none.
All I can see is:

<...>

Re: Panasonic TX-P50VT65B and apple MOV files

Dan,

*** User ( my ) error !!!! ***

I was expecting iphone photos in : "serviio\IMAGE\folders\photos\<...>"
but obviously those are "movies", so are in : "serviio\VIDEO\folders\photos\<...>"

I can see those now streaming ok, slow , but working.
Thank you very much for taking time to respond.

Asia.
