FETCH TV

Hi folks,

I have a FETCH TV box I want to use for media streaming. It sees that there is a serviio console but does not see any of the files in the relevant folder (or even the folder). Nothing. Can anyone help? I tried to find earlier discussion on same topic but no luck. Thanks, Jason

Re: FETCH TV

We would need to know what media codecs and containers are supported. I'm not familiar with the player, so have no idea. You might experiment with different profiles to see which might work. Your player typically won't show files it thinks are unplayable, so a proper profile will transcode the media into something supported. Since you can see nothing, the Fetch box must have a very limited amount of support.

My first suggestion is to try the DirecTV profile, as it transcodes everything. If that works, then we start trying less restrictive profiles. It would also help to have media information for a couple of your existing files that aren't appearing. See the link in my sig line to gather the media file information.
