No Updates to Serviio v2.0? Concerned...

Hello Everyone,

I'm just curious about the status of Serviio. I have not seen any updates to v2.0 since it was released, which is a bit unusual if you follow the history of updates. There are typically small updates every few weeks or months but I have not seen any activity on Serviio for a long time.

Has the developer (Zip?) stopped support? Stopped development?

I'm just curious because I like Serviio. It would be a shame if it's no longer being developed or updated. I hope all is OK with Zip...

I don't believe he's stopped support. He did have a new addition to the family last year, and if you've ever had kids you know that can take a little of your attention.

I am certain he's still working on it, but I haven't heard anything specific about a release date for the next version. There are a few bugs in 2.0 that need addressing, and I'd guess he's getting close to testing a beta.

Thanks for the reply Dan. It's just been unusually quiet for Serviio. The website, social media platforms, etc have almost no activity. I was just hoping everything was good.

I have two kids. I remember those days...
