DLNA display issue on Sony Bravia

On my Sony, this is the only time I see this issue.

When your playing a movie and use the display, it shows the movie position, could be 1, could be 4 OF something...... like 1 of 10, 4 of 20....whatever.....on my sony, it never shows what the total is and I can never figure out why. It only shows dashes.

See image for example.

Any idea what is causing this?

Re: DLNA display issue on Sony Bravia

might be some chapters, not sure. But if it's transcoded, that information is probably lost

Ok I looked at this closer, I put an MP4 that had chapters in it, not transcoded, and that wasn't the issue, same output.

The video is pulled from "last added" which contains 50 movies (set by me in the control area).....and when I hit "next" meaning, "next movie", the count increased....the count increased by the last added date.

So, event horizon.....was the 1, child's play (latest), was 2, and next last added was 3 and so on.....

so it "seems" like there needs to be a parse for how many actual movies there are in the the "category"......i.e. last added, folders, album......whatever the current "pull path" happens to be.

Is this something that can be done since mediabrowser clearly knows how to get the value. When I set it to 15 for total of last added, serviio shows the last 15 in mediabrowser and my other DLNA devices by index.

The "string" is the only area that it seems to be confused, presumably because whatever DLNA item variable it is parsing, is NULL.

Is this something you could look at?

Thanks.
