OS X (10.15+) Are External Drives Supported?

When I want to add a Shared Folder on Mac, I can see only my internal SSD drive in selector. I cannot access any other volumes even after adding the Serviio-Console to System Settings > Privacy > Full Disk Access. Is it supported?

Re: OS X (10.15+) Are External Drives Supported?

I'm not a Mac user, so no experience there. But yes, Serviio supports external drives connected to a computer, as well as network shared locations. Just a guess of my part, but whatever credentials Serviio is using on a Mac might not have permission to access an external drive. Under Windows, Serviio runs as a local system user. I don't know how that works on a Mac, but I would expect there to be some guidance available online that details how permissions work there.

I have played around with Serviio on a Linux computer. I never connected an external drive, but I was able to connect to a networked location after linking a local folder to the remote location. No idea if something like that will work on a Mac.
