Re: Cannot get PLAYLISTS to work

OK, your folders make sense now. The playlists should work with the path including Volume1 in it.

Re: Cannot get PLAYLISTS to work

I switched it to PLS and it had the same issues.

I think I found a "gotcha" with the NAS and that is....when the lists are deleted, they move to the NAS recycle bin...and somehow Serviio sees it. When I "empty" the bins...the lists update....so that is probably where some of the issue is coming from.

So from there, I did a test by putting the playlist above the target folders:

From there, I waited about 3 minutes......and the playlists updated as I would expect....so that had 10 videos.....I did an in place test........offline added 30 more songs....overwrote the playlist with the same file name.....Serviio updated within a minute with all the updated files as one would expect.

The only "thing" I don't like is that Serviio doesn't seem to honor the ORDER that the playlist was created in and sorting it by alpha......that isn't how a playlist is supposed to work....but I'll continue to use it and see if there are any other bugs....

AT > Have you seen Zip around.....? I never see him post.....is he done with all this or..................??????

His input would be helpful as he is the source code writer.

Re: Cannot get PLAYLISTS to work

Serviio does honor the title order in the playlist. It's up to your player to not sort it itself. That's an annoyance with Kodi as my player, it that it wants to order the files its own way.
