Noob help

Hello, i`ve changed my tv and i can`t see the subtitles on movies anymore. Can anyone help me?
I have tried changing the profiles in serviios, but that doesn`t help either, and i don`t really know how to make a new profile

Re: Noob help

You haven't provided enough information for us to even begin. We need the brand and model of the TV, and the contents of the file you're trying to play with subtitles. Just be aware that most TV players will not display imaged based captions, such as what is usually found on DVD and Blu Ray discs. They will only display text based captions, such as used with broadcast TV and text based caption files (usually the file name extension is SRT). To display image based captions on devices that don't support them, Serviio must transcode the file during playback and "burn" the captions into the video stream.
