For those trying to really squeeze their AV equipment, I recommend Samsung's "Oceanic Life": 40 Mbps of bitrate (added link in chapter III).

Really late to this thread, but wanted to say I currently run Serviio on a Dell Mini 10 with the same Atom processor..


Nice article..

So far, so good...everything is wired ethernet (wireless very unreliable) ..still will be upgrading to the Proliant Microserver when I have $$ saved..

My atom box works very well except for transcoding HD video to mpeg2video but that is not a problem for me.
