PVR like function for online sources(rss or more)

i would like a feature like this but i would like more plugins to get the content i want from online sources

look in the online sources section plugin's are being built everyday, as for PVR type function that wont happen as this is not part of the DLNA scope.

thats ok cant expect everything . it would be nice to record or fast forward and rewind what you stream

you can FFWD and RWD with serviio you just cant record.

i can on a local movie but not on a rss feed .

depends of file type and device as thoes functions are controlled by the renderer and not serviio.

i got a samsung bdc5900 and a samsung c7000 plasma, the plasma has bookmarks and skip on local but not rss and my blu ray player only has skip on local,and i got a ps3 but i don use it for serviio .but i did work out that it was on my end and not serviio so theres not much that can be done.but hey im very happy with serviio i just wanted to know if PVR could be added it to serviio it self and controled by the device rendering

the best you can get is to grab the file from Serviio's transcoding directory after you've played it.

the idea is more for live streaming when it is added where the video mite not get added to there video list.so could you make a temp file where when u finish watching a stream it get auto save to the file and if you like to save it u just move it where to want.and if so can you make it in serviio main screen so

also is it possible to just add a web address and all the video for that page are put in a file to be played ,and if so could sub folders be added if you wanted so you can watch all video for the site just by adding the main address...i think red that you where looking in to this im not shore
