i know this can be done on some devices but it would be a good feature to broadcast what is displayed on your computer screen over your home network and displayed on a different devices in your home. so if you get sick of sitting in front of your computer , you can grab your wireless keyboard and mouse and use your computer on your tv or use it in bed before you go to sleep

i did see this in a post before but it was not the main topic

appletv has mirroring, and the lowest lag i have seen to a tv, but even that isn't perfect...
other apps which claim to do the same thing appear to have even more lag (and in those cases hdmi output is preferable)
for non-tv based stuff the best compromise i found for being able to control my window 7 pc over the air was using my ipad2 and the splashtop app, the lag was lower than anything else i have come across so far and is very usable.
i use powerline adapters from my router to my tv to avoid wifi being an issue
i guess the fact that some apps are able to do it in relative low latency must mean it's doable, id 2nd this request if it can be done with ultralow latency

there is an open ticket for this. the latency, however, will be huge as the screen needs to be grabbed, transcoded and sent to serviio. Not useful wor work, but maybe to watch a web based player video.
