Help With Set-up
Config: iMac 24 running OS X 10.6.8, Servio 0.6.0.1, Elgato EyeTV 3.5; Sony Bravia KDL-46HX803, Sony BD Player BDP-S470.
I want to stream recordings made with Elgato EyeTV to my TV. I've 'pointed' Serviio to the 'EyeTV Archive' folder which holds around 15 video files (and selected just the video checkbox in the console). The server has been running on the iMac for a couple of days now. [I've also pointed it to my iTunes and iPhoto libraries but these work perfectly on the TV so not an issue].
On the Status menu I can see the device name KDL-46HX803 with the profile Sony Bravia TV and a green button.
I can also see device name Sony BD Player with the profile Sony BD Player and a yellow button. All other settings I've left at default.
Moving to the TV, I can find the Serviio server in the video menu, I can see all of the videos in Folder/EyeTV Archive and they are named correctly, I can select one of the videos which then shows up as something like "00000000145c8690.mpg Sat 29 Oct 2011 (0H 33M") with mpeg2 in the grey box. Press play and at this point the spinner appears in the top right of the screen, filename top left and the green play button bottom left. The spinner spins for a while then the screen goes black and that's it.
Trying the Blueray, all very similar but this time the filename is "00000000145c8690.mpg" with M2T6 in the grey box. Press play and the spinner spins indefinitely and then it just hangs.
I bought the TV November 2010 so tried the Bravia TV 2011 profile but it still behaves the same.
If anyone has a similar set-up working I'd love to know how.
Thanks . . . Bob.
