Movie Files Will Not Add to library, newbie help

Seems that my home videos will go into the library , however my MKV, Divx files will not show up in the library..

what device are you using to view the files ? have you made sure you selected the correct profile in console for that device.

I have over 200 gig of movies, in the library, only the avi vids show up

are file on an internal or external drive ?

all of my files are on the internal, in the Video folder

dunno should add them fine, have u check with av media controller from intel tools to see if the files are in library or not ?

I guess it would have helped if i would have shared the "Movie" folder inside the Video folder.. im good now.. thanks for your help
