Connecting Via wireless bridge

Hi thanks for the great software! Looking to solve a problem here.
I am using the latest version of Serviio on a Win 7 64 bit PC with a Samsung UE32D5520 TV connected to a wireless bridge running DD-WRT, It works mostly well, but it has a serious issue.
The wireless bridge running DD-WRT must be manually set on the Serviio server console with a Samsung D profile each time the PC is powered up. The server is a fixed ip address, the wireless bridge running DD-WRT is also a fixed ip address and the TV is also a fixed ip address. The server correctly remembers the Samsung D profile for the TV OK each time, but I have to manually change profile of the wireless bridge running DD-WRT each time (recognized as Generic profile on power up). In order to play FLAC and MKV files correctly I must manually set wireless bridge running DD-WRT to the Samsung D profile, otherwise the TV will only effective play media as if it was set to a Generic profile itself. Any suggestions for a permanent solution, apart from using a cable to the main router or using the propriety Samsung wireless USB adapter? Thanks.

Re: Connecting Via wireless bridge

check and see if QoS is enabled or disabled. Change it so if it was enabled now it is disabled and if diabled make it enabled.

Re: Connecting Via wireless bridge

ditch the wireless bridge go buy the samsung wireless adaptor and connect directly to the main router that serviio pc is connected to . ( K.I.S.S )

Re: Connecting Via wireless bridge

Well, the QoS setting didnt work, I cant imagine how it could. And obviously I would rather not have to buy a Samsung USB adapter if I can solve this problem by simply changing a setting. Has no-one come across this problem before?

Re: Connecting Via wireless bridge

See if the router has any kind of media server options. and If they do disable them.

Re: Connecting Via wireless bridge

Success! I got it working. In the advanced routing tab the DD-WRT was set to GATEWAY. Switching it to ROUTER has solved my problem. Thanks for all your suggestions.
