D6900 .mkv plays, other times do not
Hi,
it's my first post here, so i'd like to welcome all fans of Serviio, hello mates.
First of all, sorry for my english
Second, sorry for my incompetence, but it's my first steps in this field.
I really thank you for your patience and undersanding.
After i've done upgrade my Serviio server from 0.6.1. to 0.6.2. i encounter problem with watching some .mkv files on my Samsung D6900 Plasma TV. Not with all of those files is the problem. Some plays when the other don't.
I've tried to switch off the transcoding option, but some files started to plays, while others do not.
I've also tried to with other profile, that i found on this forum, but again, some files stated to work fine (other than those before), while other still, or suddenly stopped working.
I've tried also with transcoding options, like high quality, and sound downmix ... still nothing.
I looked to transcoding temp folder and there's file transcoding-temp-1-MPEG2TS.stf but weight of it is 0 KB.
When it's not possible to watch .mkv file, i reveiveing message on my TV - "Not Supported File Format"
Some times, but not always, after that message, there's another one - "Device disconnetced, Device Name: Serviio (comp_name)", but after 1-3 minutes Serviio reappears on my TV.
There's no problem with any of .mkv files, if i copy it to, and watch through another DLNA server (miniDLNA integrated to Tomato software on my ASUS RT-N16 Router).
If i could ask you to use less complicated language as much as it's possible (in the technical sense) i will really appreciate, cause i'm really not familiar with that technology.
