Re: Last Bit of Information required for Panasonic Profiles.

With Upnp Friendly Name, that should do the job.

with Device Spy tool, right click on device, select "Get Device XML":
with can use these information (for serviio):
<friendlyName>Serviio (XXXXXXXXXXX)</friendlyName>
<deviceType>urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:MediaServer:1</deviceType>
<manufacturer>Petr Nejedly</manufacturer>
<manufacturerURL>http://www.serviio.org</manufacturerURL>

Hi,

I have a P42V20B and here is the DEBUG info...

  Code:

I can play most avi's, but not matroska, like the P42VT20 and new sets play. Also when transcoding if the original file was letterboxed, my set stretches it full screen which is a pain.

Hope that helps...

try the new proifle i posted, if you still doesnt work with vt20 then start a new topic and we can look into the VT20 support, but i suspect it will work fine with teh new profiles.

Cool, I'll give it a try and let you know.

I have a V20 btw, I only mentioned the VT20 as they added MKV support for that set and beyond which is a little annoying as they could easily add support for the V20, but they don't! :/

I am using the panasonic without AVI, which if I understood correctly was to be used if my TV doesn't support AVI files.

I have tried both, plus a profile that was made for TC-P50X3, but that also had issues. I don't know enough about these things to give you too much info, but I will post all the logs you like until I can learn what I need to learn.

On my current profile, I deleted all of the profiles listed, since I don't need any of them, and only put panasonic without AVI under the listing of the general profile. Labeled it as 2 extending 1. I will try some other solutions as I find them on this forum. Any tips are appreciated, but not demanded... :D
