Shared Folders Force refresh

In previous releases, I was able to selectively force refresh of my library by only clicking the update box for the folders I wanted to refresh. This allowed me to update the library including removeable drives and have that content remain static if the drives are removed by simply unclicking the update box for the removeable drive boxes.

Today with 6.2, I only had 2 folders clicked for update yet on "force refresh" it purged the library of all my removeable drive content and updated all my other folders, rather than just the 2 folders that were clicked.

The whole purpose of the update box is to control the updating so why ignore it when force refreshing. I see no other way to selectively refresh so whats the point of the box? I consider this a bug, since I now have to update all my libraries when only one of them is dynamic, and then rebuild my portable drives every time I reconnect them.

Re: Shared Folders Force refresh

That is weird and no change has been made in this area AFAIK. What Force refresh does is basically just restarting the update threads. So it should not be any different from what it was doing for days before that.

Are you using the console or a web UI?

Re: Shared Folders Force refresh

Just the console. Serviio has been running for 5 days and this was the first refresh as I've been working on livestreams.

Just tried a test. Connected Removeable P: drive, clicked P: folder Update box, save, Force Refresh and watched it cache 73 files.Log shows 73 added entries.

Now unclick P: folder update box, click one resident folder, save, remove P: drive, Force Refresh. Files NOT removed.

I suspect the last refresh was done under 6.2 beta so perhaps it got mixed up in the transition. I'll keep my eye on it.
