Re: Streaming Status Feature

Had problems before trying to attempt transcode two streams at once, possibly my NAS cant keep up than on a full desktop or laptop

I thought Serviio transcode one at a time, its stops one transcode and deletes the temp file to start another?

Re: Streaming Status Feature

I think he runs serviio on a NAS with a limited cpu which cannot transcode multiple videos at once.

If the video doesn't have to be reencoded then I can stream to multiple devices with my atom cpu, but can't if the video needs to be reencoded.

Edit: Not sure why I didn't see the earlier posts :( when I posted I only saw upto page 2

Re: Streaming Status Feature

NAS CPU tend to be underclocked to maintain low heating and power as these are designed to run 24/7
Dont think NAS manufacturers intended their devices for transcoding videos or intensive usage

I think for parental control it will be good feature

parental lock feature have been requested and are a conpletely different feature and are not related to being able to see whats being streamed.
