Add presentation category for IMDB movie rating

I would like to be able to browse my movie library according to the average rating the movie got from IMDB users.
(ie. Pulp Fiction -- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110912/ -- shoud be found in the following path: /rating/9/9.0)

This would help you choosing the (supposedly) best movies from your library...

(defining CUSTOM new presentation categories based on any metadata available, would be highly appreciated)

I was thinking about this in past, but I cannot scrap IMBD for data. I think themoviedb.org has something similar, but obviously very few people vote there in comparison, so the ratings would not be that relevant.

Will is currently using it on ServiiGo and I see many free and commercial apps use it too

Last time I checked IMDB didn't have free API. If you can point in the right direction I'll have a look.

I'm currently using http://www.imdbapi.com/ but it seems like IMDb is trying to shut it down. It's API is still working at the moment, but I may have to find something else for ServiiGo

Looks like imdbapi.com doesn't really get its data directly from IMDB but from other freely available sources. Looks like its a losing battle for IMDB for me.

Well wherever it gets it from, the rating match except for the odd movie which is out by +/- 0.1 which is probably due to data getting cached by the sources it uses.
