Sony Bravia XBR55HX929

I downloaded Serviio on my MacBook Pro. I see a Serviio Console icon on my laptop screen, but cannot open it in order to select the files I want on my TV. On my TV, I keep on getting that the server is not accessible. I am not computer savvy. I really need someone to walk me though the process to rectify my problem. Can anyone help me using non-technical language or step-by- step instructions?

you have to start Serviio.app first
then Serviio-console.app - it should open the console or atleast display serviio icon in the notification area (top right)
