Live TV streams are slow to load - why?

I notice that live tv streams are very slow to load & play - upto to 90 seconds - on a WD TV Live.

Is this a Serviio bug or a device problem?

About 3 to 5 seconds on my Bravia TV for that sky news link

Could be hardware issue
Sony Bravia 2010 52NX803 - Sony PS3 - Xbox 360
Serviio running on QNAP NAS 639 Pro - 1.6 Intel Dual Core - 2GB RAM and QNAP NAS 121 - 2Ghz ARM Marvell - 1GB RAM
Console using ServiiDroid for Android, ServiiMetro and ServiiWP for Windows Phone and WebUI for iOS

So, as I understand it, it's a Serviio issue in how it interacts with WD TV .... ???

Any chance it will be fixed ?

the ticket is there so it should be at some point, although it's low priority
