Serviio console wont start

Hi,

I'm running a windows 7 64 bit Home Premium O/S, I can see the serviioservice.exe running in task manager (in fact I have 2 services with that name, one is 66K and the other is 1.6k) but the console will not start and there is no console on the task bar. My TV can see my PC acting as a Serviio server but without the console available I cant use it. I have installed as administator and attempted to start the console as administrator as well but no luck.

I've installed the latest version of Java and uninstalled Serviio and reinstalled Serviio as per another thread I saw but the console just wont appear. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

According to java.com I did have the latest version but I also had a few older Java versions listed in my add / remove programs. So I removed all Java entries from my PC, then installed ServiIo and let it pull the version of Java that it wanted. After the install, the console is now up and running.
