First Time User problems ?

Probably being a bit dense but I have loaded Serviio on my PC and told it to use my Video folder as a library. Its went off and seemed to finish doing that after 20 mins or so. However I can see Serviio on my daughters laptop but it opens with Windows media Server and whn I go into that it can't find any files. Mainly .MKV

I usually run VLC as a player and wondered if I could make the default player that ? I can see the Seviio server on the laptop in Networks but VLC doesn't see it.

As always thank you for your quick response. Thats works fine. I was also hoping to see list of all folders etc captured by Serviio on the desktop. I used to run Mezzmo and that gave me an interface screen with all files and folders under its control

There is no such functionality. 1.0 will bring a web based playback so that might help.
