Is it possible to create playlists / specific content stream

can you post the bit of the playlist file around the item that is last shown and a few after that?

I'm 100 % sure that if I change the order of the tracks it will just only show the first 592 or whatever tracks. As if it's got a limit or cutoff point.

EDIT: just did that and what do you know... only the first 592 files are shown.
EDIT 2: Checked with other streaming software and there is also a limit, but not as bad as with Serviio. I can see 1020 tracks. Still a limit is a limit...

I think 1020 is the Samsung's limit.

I'll try to figure out what could be wrong. Any chance to post a detailed log of when it parses the playlist? (ie try to remove the playlist file, force refresh, wait for it to be removed from the library and then add again.)

This issue is now been solved. I've chatted back an forth with zip and it turns out that Serviio is not exepting playlist larger than 100 kb. This will be fixed for next release 1.0.1

Ok, I've downloaded and installed 1.0.1, I was expecting to be able to create playlists from the serviio console, can I presume this is not the case and I can only place playlists somewhere in the library?

yes. just place a .pls, .wpl, .m3u file in a shared folder.
