Forcing display aspect ratio

Hi,

Among the new features in 1.0 there is "added possibility to force display aspect ratio during transcoding; ticket #179"

How can I use it?
MP4 files in 2.35:1 format are being stretched to full screen and I would like to "lock" them (rather than converting them to mkv, which is a valid workaround, I guess).

that only applies to transcoding. If the file is streamed natively it's up to the renderer.

I can only play mp4s with transcoding on - but aspect ratio still changes...

any of the Panasonic ones

try to ad DAR="16:9" on the transcoding config where it also sets targetVCodec (I didn't check but hopefully that includes some mp4 transcoding, not just remuxing)
