having problems playing music album tracks

I have just got a Cambridge Audio NP30 Network Music player and set it up to the Pure Flow Renderer profile. I can then find an album on the NP30 and select the first track I then get a message on the NP30 saying "Connecting" but I get no sound after a period of time the NP30 selects the next track and again says "Connecting" this continues until all the tracks have been selected. If I press the halt button on the remote whilst it is connecting then the message goes to "Stopped" if I now press play on the remote the message goes to "Play" and the track now plays. At the end of the track the next track is selected and it goes back to connecting. I am using version1.0.1 running on a Linux system.
