Sony EX713 (2010 transcoder) aspect ratio probs

I have jyst switched to the new (recommended) Bravia 2010 transcoder and find that most of my pre-recorded anamorphic (16:9) recordings arebeing displayed in "squashed" (4:3) aspect ratio in the centre of the screen when viewed on the "Wide" setting. The only way to fill the screen now is with the sub-optimal "zoom" or "smart" settings, both of which leave the picture still distorted. How can I return to the previous (correct) implementation?

2 files analysed:the first is one that won't respond to the "wide" setting on the Bravia. The second is some HD camcorder footage that I have shot that stutters badly making itunplayable. Any help in solving either problem much appreciated.

Sorry, but I could only submit the first file because the second time I tried it Windows Interactive services detector claimed that ffmpg was nota valid win 32 applicaition. Also, now i can't get rid of the interactive services detection messahe which keeps recurring (even after a full reboot). Help!

Could you check on serviio log that this file is delivered in native format (not transcoded)?

- Enable detailed logging (see signature links).
- restart serviio service.
- start to play the file (wtv).
- post log file here.
