Unknown Bravia

Good morning all,

I searched the posts, honest I did, and I can't find any other reference to my TV. I have a KDL-46EX520 Bravia and cannot get it to connect. I manually put in the TV IP address and console shows it with amber dot. The SonyUk utube video refers to the XMB media control and I can't find one of these on my telly. Don't tell me I have the only Bravia model on the planet that cannot use serviio?

Re: Unknown Bravia

Could you explain a little bit your network configuration ?
What is your OS?
You could enable detailed logging (see signature link) and post log here.

Re: Unknown Bravia

hmm. "Edit log4j.xml in the config folder" . Should be easy enough even though I'm new to Macs - so Finder - where's log4j.xml, eh? Finder tells me its in the archived file I downloaded. OK, I open the archive - still can't find it. Use a different archive program Stuffit to de-archive - but this goes that fast I can't read it - and Finder still can't find log4j.xml. Can you tell me where I'm going wrong?

Re: Unknown Bravia

I'm not a MAC user...I found this
1. Open a Terminal (Under Applications - Utilities).
2. You'll have to navigate to where your Serviio is installed (I'm presuming /Applications, if not, change accordingly):
type “cd /Applications/Serviio.app/Contents/MacOS”
...
