None of my videos are able to FF or RW

I have a large amount of videos in multiple formats: m4v, avi, mkv, and mp4. However, none of my videos are able to fast-forward or rewind, but can stop (pause) and start (play). I have tested FW and RW on my Xbox 360 and two different PC via the Media Browser with no success. I have the Serviio server installed on a clean Windows 2008 R2 install. What do I need to do to enable it? Note: I am very new to Serviio, so I have no idea what files to edit or if I need anything else that didn't come pre-packaged.

Mediabrowser transcodes everything to flv so no ff/rew is available. You need to play them on your DLNA TV for that. I don't know about xbox.

Thank you! Now I know that I didn't mess anything up or forget anything. Will it be possible in the future? BTW, I retested the Xbox, it's working. I am able to rewind and whatnot. However, I would like to know if there is there a computer program that can be use to browse through and watch videos on my Serviio server? I need one that works with both Macs and PCs or one for each.
