BDP-S280 can't find Serviio

Hi,

My Sony BDP-S280 does not find my Serviio server.
In the console on the Vaio it says "Server status: running".
I have shared the appropriate folder in Library / Shared folders.
( those folders are also shared in windows )
The BDP-S280 has confirmed connection with the Internet ( That is over the LAN )
My router shows both.

Hope somebody can help.

Kind regards
Amoko :(

What is the IP address of your Sony device ?
Do you see your device on Serviio Console device list?
Do you open all port on your firewall ?

From a google search, I think this player doesn't support DLNA.
Using Serviio on Debian "Wheezy" with Xbox 360, Sony BDP-S370 & Panasonic E6.

Hi Illico and everybody else whom I have bothered with my (non existing) problem!

I asked Sony in my homeland how to play files on my Vaio on my BDP-S280, and was recommended to install Serviio.
I was so stupid to trust them more than Illico's reply.
Maybe because we speak the same language, I don't know.

Sorry and
