Vizio Smart Serise 60" + Serviio
I have done a search on the site for this issue - I also saw that Vizio is noticably missing from your sub-list of hardware. This might be the whole issue, eh?
The Vizio I have does support DLNA. I have use the USB to play video files, I have tried other DLNA servers. The messages I have run into on this board are 'well your files aren't being indexed... delete the offending one'.
1) I can see both DLNA servers I have setup when I access them from my Vizio. One, I don't like due to options (lack of). Serviio, I like.
2) The Serviio does not list any files. You can browse it, but nothing is there. Now for the kicker:
3) I have a Samsung wifi BRPlayer on another Vizio in an other room. Serviio works fine. I can even play MKV files that I couldn't before.
Obviously the issue is the 60" Vizio Smart TV (oxymoron)? - One other thing I noticed is the IP address for the Samsung auto-defaults to a samsung tv/player for the profile. The others are 'default'.
If anyone has hurdled this issue, please let me know.
