I gave up on LaCie which is lame... I switched to Raspberry Pi + Raspbmc. 2 times cheaper, 10 times better (even better than Boxee Box, which I also had, but gave up on it as well).
NAS: DS712+, 2x Seagate ST2000DL003
DLNA Server: Synology, Serviio, Twonky, Plex
DLNA Player: Raspberry Pi Raspbmc
DLNA Tablet: Yatse
