4oD and the likes on my Samsung TV

I am very new to Serviio, and what it can offer, but maybe this is the solution I need. Basically, what I want to do is to watch UK On Demand services on my Samsung Smart TV. Currently, there are ITV and BBC iPlayer apps available, but nothing for other services like 4oD and 5on Demand. My goal is to somehow get 4oD onto my Samsung TV.

I have the following kit which could be of use:
1) Samsung 2012 UE40ES6800 series TV
2) iMac 2010
3) Apple TV3 and iPad3 (so if there is a way to use Serviio with those, I could Airplay?)
4) (NAS) QNAP TS-219P II on the network

Now, ideally it would be great to have some sort of server on the NAS which I could navigate to bring in 4oD and stream up to my TV. This operates 24/7 and is always connected to the internet. But I suspect Serviio can not be installed on this device.

So, is there a way, with the equipment I have and with Serviio to achieve this goal?

Also, do I need a Serviio app for my SamsungTV? I have not seen one on the Samsung App store.

You can install Serviio on the QNap - check the NAS forum (although I'm not sure if they have ported the newest version yet).

So, I can have the Serviio server on my actual NAS, which can take feeds from 4oD... which is the first half of the problem.

The second half is watching on my television.

I have a Samsung TV as listed above, which has SmartTV apps. I can't find a Serviio App in the UK App store. Is this under a different name? Or do I access the 4oD stream from Serviio on the NAS with Samsungs built in DLNA server?

Alternatively, I also have an iPad, which can Airplay over to the TV via an ATV box. But I guess serviio doesn't have an app that can do this? (Maybe I use the QNAP iPad App for this?)

If there are other options with the kit I have, please let me know. I'll start for the time being with what I have and try and get it all installed on the NAS

You don't need a TV app, you use it via the DLNA functionality (probably called All Share on your TV). Just start Serviio, find it in All Share and browse for content.
