Help with playstation 3

Recently I changed players, I had a regular sony blu ray player, but for some reason the new one (ps3), only shows the files that were in my library before the switch, any new file doesn't show up. Anyone know how to fix this?

Are you sure that new files were added to the library? You can check on serviio log, or with another renderer, or MediaBrowser or with Intel tools AV Media Controller ?

Never mind, I reinstalled and it works now. I did notice a new problem, I thought it was the files fault, but for some reason brightness seems to be too low on serviio, when ever I watch a blu ray or play a game it's fine, but when ever I use serviio, it's too dark. Is there a setting for this?

This is a PS3 setting... I'm not PS3 expert but on my Sony Bravia, during playback you can change display setting.
In fact setting are stored for each input type (hdmi, vga, network)

Are they stored individually for games/blurays/servers? My settings are fine for the first two, on the same device
