Need stop and start server between each video

Hi,

first, sorry for my bad english.

I've a 46EX721. Between each video that i see, i need to stop and start server, else i can see anything else.

My PC with serviio is 192.168.1.5
My TV is 192.168.1.9
My router is 192.168.1.254

In the servio console, the soft see the 192.168.1.9 but sometime not like TV, i choose Sony 2011.
If i use refresh button i can see My TV on 192.168.27.14, i don't know what's happen ? Yes, it's 192.168.27.14.

Any idea ?

Thanks

try and set a static IP address on your TV. and the computer that serviio runs on.

Re: Need stop and start server between each video

Hi,

That was done, yet.

First : I see my TV with good IP 192.168.1.9 in Servio
Second : I go to the server on my TV

Then i lost the TV icon and Bravia 2011 but i see the IP 192.168.1.9 in servio and there is a TV icon and Bravia 2011 on IP : 192.168.27.14.

When i finished my movie, i'm back in the menu and then it can see files in server. I can see Servio Server in TV menu but i can't going in.

Then i need to restart for my next movie.

I edited a debug log file but it's big what do you need ?

Thanks

It almost sounds like you have 2 DHCP servers assigning IP addresses. Do you have two routers or switches on the same network?

Re: Need stop and start server between each video

You have to fix IP address of your devices within the same sub-system : 192.168.1.X and mask 255.255.255.0
First,

I suggest to set router IP address to 192.168.1.1

Two solutions to fix IP address on a network:
- On your router setting, enable DHCP and fix IP address of each devices according to there MAC address. On all device set network to automatic (will use router/server DHCP process )
- On your router setting, disable DHCP IP area from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.20 range, (start DHCP area from 192.168.1.21). And on all devices, set IP address manually with 192.168.1.X ( 2 < X < 20), mask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1
