Sony BDP-BX37 "No Playable Files"

Everything was working fine before I upgraded to 1.2, then I started to receive the "No Playable File" when browsing to my movie folder. I read the forums about using a static IP and resetting the router and both of those things still did not resolve my problem.

I am using the profile Sony BDP-SX90 in the console profile. If there is something I am missing please let me know. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Re: Sony BDP-BX37 "No Playable Files"

The Sony BDP profiles have been separated out by year for better feature support on the newer ones, but there's no way to autodetect them unfortunately (they all present generic device info) - so the BDP-Sx90 series is assumed. In the Status tab, you'll need to select the 2010 model from the dropdown. This also means that you ought to set your home router to always allocate the same IP for your player or else it will keep being re-detected as a 2012 model each time its IP changes.

Re: Sony BDP-BX37 "No Playable Files"

I have this exact same issue. However I'm running Windows 8 and Serviio 1.5.2. Serviio automatically detected my bluray device (BDP-BX37) and it's using the profile: "Sony BDP-Sx70/SMP-N100(2010)". THe light on the Render Profile screen is orange though. :-( Also on the Bluray it displays the the folders. However I have one music folder and it's not displaying it. The directory contains mp3 files. I verified the directory is correct as well.

Not sure what to do. The weird thing is when I had my old as dirt XP machine this worked fine with the exact same bluray player. Any ideas?
