Hi there I have installed recently serviio 1.2. It worked on the first day but afterwards my Samsung D-series TV was not able to find out the server. I am attaching the log file. Plz help me out.

Re: Serviio 1.2 not working since installed ?

It looks like your IP address (of the PC) has changed in the middle of running Serviio. I'll try to fix it in future versions, but for now give your laptop static IP address on your router.

Re: Serviio 1.2 not working since installed ?

Greetings, thanks for the great software. My serviio also stopped working after 1.2 like OP. Assigning a fixed ip to my server did not resolve the issue. Do you have any other suggestions? I also notice on the console that I have to manually select the dropdown option from "bound ip address" as neither "automatically detected" nor the manual option are selected by default.

Any help would be much appreciated as serviio is mi software of choice for upnp streaming. Thanks in advance!

edit: if not then could you please provide a 1.1 dl link?

Thank you for the attempt at fixing.

Unfortunately, still no luck.

Would it be possible to post a 1.1 link while this gets ironed out?

Re: Serviio 1.2 not working since installed ?

Oddly enough have been running 1.2.1 since it was published, and just today I ran into issues re: the bound ip and using the automatically detecting value for it......seems it was not picking up the ip correctly....again, this just started today. Still works ok with the hard coded value in it.

DEBUG log attached if anyone wants to look at it for reference.

BTW, I can assure my PC/server IP is not changing.

what issues were they? How many NICs are there listed in console to select from?

`

None of my devices saw Serviio....as you can see in the log, it was using 127.0.0.1 instead of my actual IP.

Just one.

Just saying that if you select "automatically detect" and save, and then when re-booting, it does not work.

When selecting the actual IP, it works fully.

Again, for me, not a big deal, just not sure it's supposed to work that way. If so, then so be it. And why it only choose today to show up, also no clue.

1.2.1 will not work under either scenario for me. However 1.1 works without a hitch.

Re: Serviio 1.2 not working since installed ?

Just had similar problem with my Viera TH-P42U30Z. it stopped detecting v1.2 yesterday so I upgraded to v1.2.1 and it detected it again briefly, but then lost it again.
I run Serviio on another PC as a test and same problem. Even XBMC now only sometime detects Serviio even when running on the same box.
I downgraded to v1.1 but that didn't seem to help.

XBMC and the Viera both see a ps3 media server on the same box as serviio and my Bravia sees both serviios no matter what.

The Viera is permanently on 192.168.1.66

Re: Serviio 1.2 not working since installed ?

I can confirm the same behaving for Linux and for Windows version of Serviio 1.2.1 with my LG BD.
It stopped working about approx 7 days since first installation.

I have fixed IP on LG and on media server.
During the 7 days nothing changed in configuration, just some media files were added/removed .....

Re: Serviio 1.2 not working since installed ?

I got 1.2.1 working again by doing a complete uninstall then reinstall, lost all my folders and other settings of course.
Has been working fine for a few days so fingers crossed

Re: Serviio 1.2 not working since installed ?

Complete uninstall did not help to me.
I had to get fresh windows installation and then install in default Serviio.

Now it works, so will let back for how long.
