MKV and external subtitles

Hi please is possible to play external (SRT) subtitles with MKV format ? When i try DLNA with Panasonic VT30 i can switch only internal subtitles on TV ... Is possible to play external subtitles with Serviio ? Thanks !

I must adding external subtitle to MKV via MKVMerge after this is OK (but with flashdisk my TV replay MKV external subtitle) ...
