Some users have this problem, I don't. You will have to live with it or shut down Serviio via the console (right-click on the icon in the system tray area)

Does the console need to be running all the time? I'm not familiar with Serviio on the mac, but can the Serviio console be removed from the auto-startup items so that it doesn't automatically load each time you login?
Using Serviio on Debian "Wheezy" with Xbox 360, Sony BDP-S370 & Panasonic E6.
