Select audio track to streaming

Hi,

I use tvheadend to record tv programs and it records all original audio stream in mkv files. I use an Samsung tv to watch the recorded files by streaming serviio. Serviio streaming first audio track but I need sometimes other audio track because my preferred language on some tv programs (channels) is not first audio track.

I found this topic where user can select preferred audio language but I did not find on my serviio 1.2. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6688

Where can I find this setup on serviio 1.2 or how can I setup preferred audio language?

Thanks

Not supported.
If you read the previous topic until the end: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6688
you will find that someone use a custom wrapper for a workarround: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=8481

Oh... I thought it has made.

It'll be a very useful feature because not need remux files manually.

Maybe it'll be next time?

Re: Select audio track to streaming

One other possible workaround is using a different box for streaming. Not a particular elegant solution, but it does work. I use the Sony SNP-N200 in several rooms and it has the ability to select audio tracks (and subtitles if available). The Sony seems to play everything I throw at it, although I believe MKV files have to be transcoded by Serviio. Also, I can select Dolby TrueHD audio and it bitstreams to my AV Receiver perfectly. DTS HD audio, however, falls back to plain DTS. I don't think Sony supports native MKV streaming, although I've heard that it does using the USB port on the box.

Again, maybe not the best solution, but it does work. My Panasonic ST30 TV also cannot select different audio tracks, so I have a few videos I can't watch on it because I get a non-english track.
