Serviio will load files from one folder but not another

Sorry if this has been brought up before, I tried to find the answer to my problem on the boards and I have tried several things but nothing is working so I thought I'd try my hand at actually asking the question (please keep in mind that I am new to DLNA stuff and I'm learning but I may need some things explained).

Background/Problem:
I have been using 1.1 for a few months now and have been really happy with it. My current setup is I have videos on a network mapped drive and audio on my laptop (the reason for this is my laptop hard drive isn't large enough to hold all of the music and the movies/tv I've collected over time). I use Serviio on my laptop (HP Pavilion dv7 Win 7) to relay the signal to my xbox360; my router is just old enough to not work as a DLNA so I have an external drive plugged into the router.
A short while ago I updated to 1.2 and noticed that the system was taking several tries and often 10 minutes or so before the videos folder would populate on the 360 (but audio would work just fine). Thinking that there may have been some issue with the update, I reverted to 1.1 but completely lost my video folder (Serviio would see the folder but not the contents). This being even worse, I uninstalled completely and reinstalled 1.2 but now only the audio folder is being found and the video folder is still not updating in the library. How can I get Serviio 1.2 to update these video files from my mapped network drive like it did previously?

Things tried:
I've tried a full uninstall/reinstall
I've tried Force Refreshing
I've tried renaming the folder containing the videos (Serviio did notice the folder name change and update accordingly sans the actual video files)
I've tried replacing the ffmpeg file per instructions found on this forum
I've ensured (to the best of my knowledge) that there are zero restrictions on the folder
I've completely given allowance for Serviio through my firewall AND turned off the firewall
I've tried both the auto-detect of IP and the static IP that displays in the "bound IP" field in the console

I'm now at a loss. I can browse to the mapped drive and watch videos without any hindrance on my laptop so I know the files are there and working just fine...they just don't want to play nice with Serviio.

So now I turn to you gurus. I ran a debug per the instructions that I found on the forums but all I see are lists of my audio files and it looks like they aren't all getting loaded if I'm reading it correctly. Please help. If there's anything else you need from me, please just let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Here is a clue

  Code:
WARN  [LibraryAdditionsCheckerThread] Folder 'W:\Videos' is either not an existing directory or cannot be read due to access rights

Re: Serviio will load files from one folder but not another

I think that's why I'm so confused. No changes to that folder, to the best of my knowledge, occurred in-between the time where it was working properly vs. now.

After seeing that in the log, I tried changing the folder name from "Videos" to "TV and Movies" (or the like...I'm at work right now and don't have access to my home network to double check the precise name) in the vein of thought that having a "new" folder would prompt the system to scan and load the files as if they were brand new files. Still no dice. The system will recognize the path when I input it and I've double checked to ensure that the videos are checked in the box for sharing.

Is there a way to completely purge any indexing or anything that Serviio has done and start from scratch? I thought a un/reinstall would do the trick but it didn't.

Oh, and yes...W is the name of the drive. That path is/was correct.

Re: Serviio will load files from one folder but not another

Ok, so I had some time tonight to sit down and play with it some more and the FAQ helped. Thanks a ton! I guess the problem is the drive I had mapped was listed as "W" but once I unmapped it and remapped just the folders and not the drive itself it listed it as "\\readyshare\usb_storage\[folder name]".

Serviio is now updating the library and I suspect it'll work just fine again. I'l chime back in if I had any other issues but I don't think I will. I have a good feeling about this one. :)

Thanks again! I really do appreciate the nudges that I needed to see my silly mistakes.
