Re: Servio Taking 92% CPU

A couple of quick checks: Check your sub-title settings to make sure your not always burning subs in (which forces transcoding). Turn off library refreshes. See if either work.

Otherwise you probably need to post your detailed log file to see what is happening.

Re: Servio Taking 92% CPU

Ok thanks i will post a detailed log later, It's ok when i first run servio, but after say 20-30 mins thats when it starts using alot of CPU even when not using it and it's just running on my PC. In my task Manager/Processes it's the ServiioService that take all the CPU.

Re: Servio Taking 92% CPU

Ok here's my log, what i did was delete the one that was there and restarted Serviio, everything was fine for about 30 mins then it took 93% cpu the log ended up 22 meg so i zipped it. and its still 1.4 meg so i uploaded it to dropbox

I can only open the file with Wordpad not notepad as it's too big.

Re: Servio Taking 92% CPU

Nothing is standing out to me (maybe others in the forum can see something) - two things to try:
  • Library updates are taking up a fair bit of time. Try disabling automatic library updates;
  • Disable your on-line sources and see if that works. If it does then bring them back one at a time (start with HaHaSport) and test (I know, slow and painful as you have to wait 20 minutes each time). I think a bad plug-in may be the problem here.

Re: Servio Taking 92% CPU

Ok thanks for the tips i remove ilive as it finds nearly 200 channels and i removed all the rest apart from the BBC and ITV Player ones But still the same,

I stopped automatic refeshing, and still no luck.... Mmm its puzzling as everything has been great since i 1st installed it a few weeks ago.

I have now removed ALL RSS and Web Resources to test again.

Ok All Online Resources Removed, and Library Refresh off All seems ok,

So i will add the Online Resources 1 at a time and see what happens from there.

Re: Servio Taking 92% CPU

It's possibly caused by a plugin, as you probably already found out.
