Old movies gets bad date on TV

I use Serviio 1.2.1 on Synology DiskStation.
Descriptive metadata for old movies show wrong date on TV.
In MediaBrowser everything is OK.
For example for old James Bond movie shows year 2099 (must be 1962) etc.

Where is the metadata coming from? Online, xbmc or no metadata? Can you check the created date of the file on the NAS?

Re: Old movies gets bad date on TV

On serviio console, Video tab:
Generate thumbnails for local videos - checked
Look for a local DVD cover... - checked

From drop-down box - Online metadata sources.
Retrieve DVD cover image or poster if available - checked.

Created date of the file on the NAS is the date when I remux MKV - for example Dr. No is 18.05.2013 etc.

Maybe it's Samsung's TV file browser problem not Serviio?

So in the image above, are you in the Folders category? And what is your TV model?

Yes, Source-> Serviio->Video-> and browsing Folder...
This picture was taken from ES8000, but the same issue have this year TV F8000.

In mediabrowser, there is correct century (premiere date in USA, because why year is 1963).

EDIT: Movies with dates 197X are OK.
Maybe some Y2K problem?

Re: Old movies gets bad date on TV

I tried a james Bond movie and it shows correctly.

Can you install Intell tools (see my signature), run AV Media Controller, browse to the file the same way you do on the TV and right-click + Properties. What is the value of field dc:date ? Should be 1962-xx-x
