serviio 1.2.1 metadata extractor

Hi,

I read that serviio 1.21 can use priority based config for metadata extractor. I updated my serviio and I created an movie.nfo XML file but it doesn't work for me.

I'd like to use it (local movie.nfo file) together online metadata sources (themoviedb and thetvdb) because I have a lot of small private video files but I think that I wrong...

If I select on console online metadata source serviio can extract metadata of my Movies and TV series from online but doesn't use movie.nfo. If I select XBMC nfo then serviio can't extract metadata of my Movies and TV series from online source and my private videos from local file. I have an error message: File 'movie.nfo' couldn't be parsed:null.

How can I use together online source and movie.nfo file? What is the trouble with movie.nfo file that serviio has an error?

Thanks
sipi

You can't use these 2 together. There is an open ticket to allow that. The priority based metadata works for embecdded, online (or xbmc), and local thumbnail files

Re: serviio 1.2.1 metadata extractor

Thanks for your answer. I think I didn't understand something exactly...

It'll be a very useful feature for me and I think to a lot of people... Maybe, it'll soon be possible to use?

Thanks and Regards

ps.: I builded some packages on opensuse and it works me. Latest build is serviio 1.2.1. If someone use opensuse then opensuse rpms download from software.opensuse.org and I look forward to the experience with package.
